 a duth born photographer who documents the world and the interaction of light in nature, travel, on people and everyday stories. Always looking for the right moment, where camera and subject are one.

Johan's lifelong passion for travel and indigenous cultures has brought him to remote corners of the world.

Worked and lived among local people in different parts of the world.

Worked for 10 years among and documented the Mayas in Eastern Mexico and Central America for several leading travel magazines in the region.

 

At the moment he and his wife run a portrait and wedding studio in Northern Guatemala. Always looking to catch the moment and turn it into something special.
